Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Do you know? The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve contains more species of trees than the entire North American continent. This is just incredible! Even though it may be small but it definitely has a rich habitat!
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is one of the first forest reserves established in Singapore. These nature reserves bounded with 4 reservoirs – namely the Mac Ritchie Reservoir, Lower Peirce Reservoir, Upper Peirce Reservoir and Upper Seletar Reservoir. The nature reserves act as water catchment for the reservoirs. In addition, the nature reserves also ensure the quality of water in the reservoirs.
We went to track there; it was fun and trilling but tiring. The trip was amazing; we tracked through the forest and saw many different types of trees and other things. Furthermore, the trip was a memorable one because when we were tracking, we helped each other as a team.
If you love flora and fauna, this will be an ideal place for you. If you are lucky, you might even have the chance to see families of squirrels or and monkeys running around the forest floor.

With over 2,500 specimens from 315 species, 16% of which are threatened, the Zoo has attained a strong reputation internationally for its conservation initiatives and breeding programmes. We went to the Zoo to learn more about the animals and their habitats. The trip was fun and exciting but tiring! We saw many animals that are rare and endangered like elephants, tigers and polar bears. It’s quite sad to hear that many animals are still being hunt in the world despite being endangered. There are many animal shows at the Zoo that animals perform some stunts that will fascinate the crowds. These shows are incredible and beautiful.
